Rules

By joining swissIRC you automatically agree to the following rules and accept them:

  • Treat other users with respect and fairness.
  • No (network)spam and/or advertising.
  • No flooding of any kind.
  • No more than 2 connections from the same IP.
  • No fake nicknames or IP addresses (proxy).
  • Any distribution of warez, viruses and copyrighted material (XDCC) is prohibited.
  • No child pornographic statements or content.
  • No extremist statements or views.
  • No over takes and botnets.

Violations of these rules will result in a network kill or even a network ban.

Furthermore, you will be checked for open proxies when connecting from our servers. This is only for your and our security and is not an attack on your PC!

The operator does not take any responsibility for the content – the users themselves are responsible for it. The laws of the Swiss Confederation apply.

The swissIRC team reserves the right to remove users from the network, change modes and other settings without giving reasons.
Furthermore, no responsibility is taken regarding the availability and the error-free operation of the IRC service.

All radios that use a channel on swissIRC are independent from this network. The operators assume no liability for radios, nor do they have any influence on the respective programming, including the payment of possible fees or SUISA, GEMA/GVL and others.

Claims for damages (liability) against this network are excluded. The operators can not be held responsible for any damages that occur during or from the use of the IRC servers or the services.

The user must inform himself in case of change of the MOTD.

The use of the servers is a privilege, NO RIGHT!
